The Dental Surgery Center Of Las Vegas is an outpatient facility that specializes in dental procedures performed under general anesthesia. We pride ourselves in providing thorough, quality care to meet the needs of each and every patient. Patients will receive a full dental examination on the day of surgery in order to determine what treatment the dentist will provide.
This could mean that some surgeries will take longer than we have planned for.
Please know that when it is your turn, we will spend the time necessary to provide you with the same quality care.
Why is this so important?
Food, drinks, gum, and mints stimulate the patient’s stomach, making them more likely to vomit during surgery. If a patient vomits during surgery, the vomit can go into their lungs and cause major health complications and may result in death.
Children-
Keep your child with you all day before the surgery, so you can be sure that they did not eat or drink anything.
You must be able to confirm that your child has not had anything to eat or drink before surgery. This means that you cannot send your child to daycare, school, etc. on the day of surgery.
Valid photo ID
Patient’s insurance card
Custody/Guardianship documents
If the patient uses any of the following items, please bring them to the appointment:
